Delinquent Selfie

Here's my entry for CHARIKO contest!

So long short story about the concept:

After reading Zucca and Rancha's bio I fell so hard for them, I love their weird and creepy stories and personalities.
Rancha being a cannibal made me think about how crazy could she get when she's hungry, and of course Zucca is her friend so she's not going to let her starve at all! That's not what a friend's supposed to do! (right?) xD
In the end they decided to rob a Blood Bank in the middle of the night for Rancha to have a "little snack". Right after getting served all the alarms started and they ran off that place, but they spotted one of the security cameras on their way. They're so badass they decided to pose proudly for the camera as if they were taking a selfie ~ 


I've been working on this picture for the... past 4 weeks, probably? It's been very exhausting so I had to split the process into several days.
At the beggining it was way more simple but as usual I got a bit crazy while experimenting with Photoshop and that's the result!
I had to sacrifice color accuracy and the initial softer and sweeter look (which was so hard for me xD) so I could add all these creppy lights and noise effects. But I think in the end it was worth it. I had a lot of fun ~
